There are 2 ways to set up an OCaml development environment : 1. Using OcaIDE plugin; 2. Using Windows Subsystem for Linux. Method 2 is using WSL, a virtualized Linux, which is basically recommended to students who are familiar with or want to study Linux. (OcaIDE Supports ends in August 2021)

In case there is a problem during installation, I have written some countermeasures in Troubleshooting. If you still have difficulty installing it, please contact TA by email ([email protected]), or arrange offline meeting in TA office hour.

1. Using Eclipse + OcaIDE Plugin

1. Download and install the Eclipse installer for Windows from the Eclipse download page.

2. Select and install Eclipse IDE for Java Developers at the Eclipse installer.
